THRIVE Retreats
New England Coastal Calm

A calming retreat for women seeking wellness through the healing powers of nature, mindfulness, and community

October 1st - 4th, 2021 ⏐ Little Compton, RI

That’s why you can do ALL the things - spa treatments, Netflix, lunch with friends - and still feel as stressed as when you started!

Because no matter how much time or money you spend on relaxation, it can’t take hold if your mental chatter is on overdrive.

But when you give yourself the time and space to get back on your feet — to truly heal — what you find in that stillness will change your life.

Self compassion. Pleasure. Beauty. Peace. Connection to a higher power.

Relaxation is so much more than just something to do.
It’s a way of being.

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE BODY IN THIS LIFE.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE IT FEEL LIKE HOME AGAIN.

I DESIGNED THE COASTAL CALM RETREAT FOR YOU.

Four days. No obligations or distractions.

A quiet spot on the New England coast, chef-prepared meals, and curated activities to nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

And most special of all - the deep connection and sacred community where like-minded women hold space for one another.

You’ll go home with a clear mind, full heart, and know-how to cultivate calm in your everyday life.

What do you say? Will you join me?

Little Compton, RI

Little Compton on Rhode Island’s south coast feels like a secret hideaway.

It’s not far from Boston or the bustling scene in Newport — but it’s off the beaten path just enough that you get everything you want from a quaint coastal town, minus the crowds.

Unspoiled beaches stretch for miles, peppered with dramatic cliffs and swaying grass. The Sakonnet River is lined with local organic farms, hiking trails, and wildlife. And no matter where you are, there’s always an ocean breeze.

If it’s serenity you’re seeking, you’ll find it here.

I can feel my shoulders loosening up just thinking about it!

OUR VENUE

Set just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, our home away from home is known locally as The Big House - a traditional New England beach house with a breezy California feel.

Newly renovated by a former creative director for Pottery Barn, the decor is high-end but incredibly inviting. It offers lovely gathering spaces around the stone fire pit, sprawling lawn, and wraparound porch.

The property offers cozy, bright accommodations with options for private or shared bedrooms. Rooms have breathtaking views and sounds of crashing waves.

It’s an intimate venue perfect for our small group! The house offers just enough privacy while still allowing us to get to know each other and share a truly special experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your payment and refund policies?

An initial payment of 50% is due at booking. The remaining balance is due before September 1, 2021. Any amount paid is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person for the same retreat in the event you can’t make it. As with any travel investment, I recommend purchasing travel insurance if you require airline tickets.

Does the price include flights and airport transportation?

Little Compton is centrally located to many major East Coast cities, and I expect most participants will drive - so I haven’t provided for any transportation to and from airports.

What kind of food will be served?

We are in for a real treat - the fabulous Chef Lauren D’Agostino will be preparing all of our on-site meals! Lauren is a plant-based chef, and incredibly skilled at making vibrant, fresh dishes where vegetables are the star. We’ll enjoy one restaurant dinner at The Boat House in Tiverton, RI, known for fresh seafood and coastal cuisine. We’re happy to work around dietary restrictions, so just let us know your needs!

Will you be serving alcohol?

Wine will be available with evening meals and events, including a group wine tasting but guests may choose not to drink, and instead enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage. Drinking is not the focus of the event - but you are free to imbibe if you wish!

Is this retreat suitable for solo travelers?

Yes! This retreat is GREAT for women traveling by themselves. Between the intimate venue, small group, and shared relaxation areas, this is truly a bonding experience. Solo travelers from past retreats may have arrived alone, but they left with lifelong friends.

Will I have free time during the retreat?

You’ll have down time each day, to use however you please! Rest and reflection are a key part of the retreat experience.

Is this a phone-free retreat?

I am a big proponent of a good digital detox — but I’d never ask someone to hand over their phone. While it’s great to get away, I don’t want to cause any stress by making it difficult for your loved ones to reach you if need be. But if you REALLY want to go screen-free, I’m happy to support you in making that happen.

How will the retreat handle concerns related to COVID-19?

We’ll continue to monitor CDC guidance surrounding testing, travel restrictions, sanitation, social distancing, mask protocols, and vaccination documentation. Your health and safety my top priority! I will keep retreat participants and anyone on the waitlist up to date on COVID-related precautions and requirements.

Does the retreat involve many physical activities?

Stress lives in the body, so I have planned on several physical activities to access and release that tension. The pace of yoga and hiking will be very gentle, and you are free to slow down even more. No matter your needs or comfort level, I promise a safe space and encourage you to participate in as many activities as you can.
