What's the difference between a retreat and a vacation?

A retreat is also a vacation so you will have time to unwind, laugh, experience new things, and see awe inspiring sights. You're in Italy so of course you'll taste delicious Italian cuisine and sample the finest Italian wines! Along the way you'll be meeting new people and making new connections.
Why are we staying in one place for a whole week?
Packing, unpacking and moving from place to place makes for a weary traveler.
On retreat means being rested and relaxed without all the hassle of moving from place to place. Villa Trulli Andrea was chosen because of it's close proximity to so many beautiful towns and sights of Puglia. You will have time to settle in and sink into the culture and beauty of this special place.
Plus, look where you get to call home for a week!
Do I have to cook my own meals?
One of the top reasons to visit Italy is for the food!
A personal chef will be preparing various meals throughout our stay and we will also be enjoying amazing meals at local restaurants.
Trulli Andrea comes equipped with a beautiful kitchen so if you prefer to shop for food to have on hand or prepare something to eat then go right ahead!
I will be asking for any special dietary needs or allergies ahead of time to give to the chef.

I've never traveled alone, is this really for me?
Yes! Pushing outside of your comfort zone is one of the best reasons to go on retreat!
I absolutely LOVE seeing what happens when a small group of women who start off not knowing eachother spend time together. Bonds form, laughter abounds, and a lasting connection is formed. In fact, I
believe it's seeing love in action!
As a bonus you will have access to our private Facebook group well before we leave so you will have a chance to get to know eachother before we head to Puglia.
How do I get to Sicily?
Your pre and post travel plans are at your discretion. We will be meeting at the Catania airport on September 19, 2020. I will reviewing your travel arrangements and giving you information on flights after you reserve your room for the retreat.
I highly suggest spending a couple of nights there pre-retreat to get adjust to the time change and get over your jet lag. It's the perfect opportunity to see more of Europe while you are travelling.
What do I pack?
Rather what should you not pack! Traveling light is amazingly freeing. I will be giving you packing tips and weather updates that will having you packing just right! 
I'm an introvert is this trip really for me?
One of the reason why I chose Trulli Andrea is that there is plenty of space to spread out and find solitude if that is what y
ou wish. With the retreat filled to capacity there will be two of everything - 2 trulli, 2 pools, 2 kitchens and plenty of living space both inside and out.
The retreat does require time with the group as a whole so if traveling by yourself for the majorty of the time is what you like then this trip is probably not the right fit for you. Feel free to set up a call with me if you want to talk further.
I'm nervous about mixing with a group of women I don't know.
Of course you are!
The unknown is always a little scary. Part of the reason to do a retreat is to push yourself out of your comfort zone. I can tell you what I have seen over the past 7 years running coaching groups for women - we need eachother. We do better whe
n we feel connected. I see women supporting and forming bonds that run so deep that they keep getting together long after the formal coaching group or retreat has ended. I love that! Who knows you may just end up meeting your BFF! I absolutely loved seeing the strong bond that developed on our last THRIVE Retreat. It was pure magic!
Is there wifi at the villa?
There is wifi however the connection may be spotty due to the stone construction of the trulli. Being on retreat means being in the present moment and giving youself space so there's no better time to try unplugging.
I have restricted mobility, is this retreat for me?
Our excursions will take us to hilly towns, some of which will have cobblestone streets. Please feel free to set up a call with me if you would like to talk about your specific concerns.
